At EmiIfy, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, protect, and handle your information when you use our mobile application and web portal.

1. Information We Collect

EmiIfy is a personal finance utility, not a banking or lending app. We collect the minimum data necessary to verify your account and keep your logs secure:

Phone Number: Used strictly for secure identity authentication via OTP (One-Time Password) during setup.
Loan Profiles: The principal, interest rates, tenures, and prepayment details you manually register within the app dashboard to construct your local reports.

Note: We DO NOT ask for, connect with, or store your internet banking login credentials, credit card details, or bank account passwords.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data to operate, sync, and secure your dashboard:

To synchronize your loan calculations across multiple devices under your authenticated phone profile.
To calculate loan tenures, amortization charts, and potential prepayment interest savings.
To send localized notification alerts for upcoming EMI payoff dates (managed locally on your device).

3. Data Protection and Encryption

Your privacy is a priority. All calculations and configurations stored under your OTP profile are securely saved on standard secure cloud sync infrastructure (Firestore) with AES-256 equivalent encryption keys during transit and storage. No third parties have access to your individual records.

4. Zero Third-Party Financial Sharing

Because EmiIfy is a 100% personal tracking tool, we NEVER sell, license, lease, or share your phone numbers or financial logs with third-party loan brokers, banks, insurance agents, or commercial entities. Your reports are yours alone.

5. Requesting Data Deletion

You have full ownership of your data. If you wish to delete your EmiIfy profile and purge all registered loan profiles from our secure databases, you can do so directly from the app's settings screen, or email us at support@emiify.com.
