At EmiIfy, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, protect, and handle your information when you use our mobile application and web portal.

1. Information We Collect

EmiIfy is a personal finance utility, not a banking or lending app. We collect the minimum data necessary to operate, verify your account, and keep your logs secure:

Phone Number: Used strictly for secure identity authentication via OTP (One-Time Password) during setup.
Loan Profiles: The principal, interest rates, tenures, and prepayment details you manually register within the app dashboard to construct your local reports.
Transactional SMS Data (Optional): If you choose to enable the SMS Expense & Loan Parser, the app scans your device's SMS inbox locally to detect and parse financial transactional alerts (such as EMI debits, credit card statement dues, and loan deposits). This data is processed locally to automate your dashboard entries. We do not read personal conversations, OTPs, or non-financial messages.

Note: We DO NOT ask for, connect with, or store your internet banking login credentials, credit card numbers, or bank account passwords.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process your data to operate, sync, and secure your dashboard:

To synchronize your loan calculations across multiple devices under your authenticated phone profile.
To calculate loan tenures, amortization charts, and potential prepayment interest savings.
To automate loan tracking via the local SMS parser if enabled.
To send localized notification alerts for upcoming EMI payoff dates (managed locally on your device).
To deliver non-personalized or personalized ads depending on your consent status.

3. Data Protection and Cloud Sync

Your privacy is a priority. All calculations and configurations stored under your OTP profile are securely saved on standard secure cloud sync infrastructure (Firestore) with industry-standard encryption protocols during transit and storage. No third parties have access to your individual records.

4. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics

We integrate Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements inside the app. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or IDFA), IP addresses, and general usage statistics to deliver, personalize, and optimize ad placements. Additionally, we use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor app stability and performance. These tools do not collect or share your financial records or phone numbers.

5. Third-Party Financial Products & External Links

The app displays curated listings of third-party credit card offers and deals. If you click on an offer, you will be redirected to the respective financial institution's official portal. EmiIfy is not a lender, broker, or issuer of these products. We do not collect or store any information you provide during external application processes, and we encourage you to read the privacy policies of the third-party providers.

6. Zero Third-Party Financial Sharing

Because EmiIfy is a 100% personal tracking tool, we NEVER sell, license, lease, or share your phone numbers or financial logs with third-party loan brokers, banks, insurance agents, or commercial entities. Your reports are yours alone.

7. Requesting Data Deletion

You have full ownership of your data. If you wish to delete your EmiIfy profile and purge all registered loan profiles from our secure databases, you can do so directly from the app's settings screen, or email us at support@emiify.com.
